We are a philosophy practiced by professionals who view the privilege - it is certainly not a right - of advising a client on their most pressing issues as the highest calling. We use a simple test to determine if we are honoring our principles: can we routinely cite instances where we have declined revenue because it was not in keeping with our value system? We believe there is no point in having principles if we refuse to follow them when it counts the most.
Our focus on our clients’ best interests is paramount. We greatly value discretion and operate on a principled belief that client relationships are best cultivated by non-solicited referrals.
We run the firm to ensure that clients recognize us for our commitment to the representation of their best interests. We will tell you the truth as we see it even if it strains the relationship. We believe a trusted advisor puts the needs of his or her client before the escrow capital from said client.
The language we use matters. We use the term escrow funds, versus revenue, because it is our job to preserve client capital until we are able to deploy it into initiatives that truly add value to our clients. We are not, and will never strive to be, the largest firm of our kind as defined by revenue or other financial metrics. We do not pursue money. We are not a value-based firm. We are a value(s)-based firm. Profits, to us, are a by-product of adding unquestioned value to our clients. Our goal is to be the firm of choice for clients with respect to their most important career decisions. We cultivate and curate a discrete client network of influential leaders in business, government, and academia.
Our singular focus means we forego short-term revenue enhancing distractions while purposefully seeking to reinvent our core purpose for our clients’ benefit. We believe that maintaining a true partnership of the finest educated and trained professionals is the single best manner of ensuring today’s partners focus on one consistent management philosophy: ensuring the firm they transfer to tomorrow’s partners is in a more enduring condition than that which they inherited.

We work with eminent former McKinsey, BCG et al partners to produce original, useful and compelling multimedia training in strategy, operations, leadership, implementation and case interviews to help our clients solve big and complex business problems.
Our belief is that strategy training can be exciting, interesting and engaging. One should want to find out what happens next in a training program. Our aim is to create programs that make viewers want to learn the content versus having them need to learn the content.
We sincerely believe that any training program forced to include tests and quizzes at the end has failed. The material should be so compelling and entertainingly presented that viewers naturally retain the key information. The inclusion of quizzes is a sign that the training can and must be improved.
We set out to create material that truly does not exist anywhere else. Our goal is to bring the greatest skills from the greatest former partners to you. We want to give you the insider tools and techniques to solve incredibly complicated and important problems, and, in the process, change mankind.
It takes us over one year to plan, execute and develop each training program and study. They are curated and crafted to help you understand, follow and solve complex problems so you may confidently acquire the style of thinking taught.
Great care is taken to make the training as realistic as possible while providing career advantages and captivating narrated episodes to improve your experience.
To impart this philosophy, our training is not theoretical. It is designed and led by influential former partners to be practical. In developing the content, we ask ourselves; "How will the client use the material at 8am on Monday morning?" Values sit at the centre of our philosophy. Ethics is not a module in our training. We are a value (s) driven organization following an internal code of conduct which we always place before monetary gain. Our independence allows us to routinely disagree with clients and share unpopular ideas when doing so places a client’s best interests before our own. We build long-term client relationships and champion counter-intuitive views which may be unpopular to hear, and difficult to execute, but are needed to bring about the required changes in clients.
We display the highest standards of professional integrity. Both during our pursuit of the goals and thereafter, we hold ourselves to the highest standards of professional conduct. We honour our commitments. We do not share client information. We treat client information as if it were our own.
We manage our clients’ resources and reputations as if they were our own. We bring the best of the firm to every client relationship and may take unpopular steps to enhance our clients’ reputations. We take great pride in refusing to follow conventional wisdom when the data suggests a different approach.
